Access, with the narrowest role

  • Store, ad accounts and analytics, each with a named person on the client side.
  • A named approver and a backup for anything that spends money.

Facts to collect

  • Product costs by product group, shipping costs, payment fees and the return rate.
  • How the client counts revenue: with or without tax and shipping, net or gross of refunds.
  • What counts as a new customer, and where that is read from.

Tracking checks

  • The purchase event fires once, with value and currency.
  • Store orders for a test day match the ad platform's purchases, and the gap is written down.

Agree in writing

  • Currency, time zone, reporting day and the attribution window per platform.
  • The report layout, with MER as the headline.
