Meta Ads integration

Meta is the first ad platform. Read insights, campaigns, ads and creatives, and create drafts paused through a controlled, approved flow.

Stock photos and example labels, not customers.

How the data moves

From Meta Ads to your report. Back only with a yes.

The top row is reading, which is all a new connection does. The bottom row is writing, switched on per account only after you grant the rights.

  1. Meta AdsReads insights and metrics
  2. 🔑Token vaultRead-only token, encrypted on the server
  3. One recordStored per client, with currency and time zone kept
  4. ▦Your reportSource, formula and sync time on every number

Meta Ads: reads, writes and limits

  • Insights and metrics
  • Campaigns, ad sets and ads
  • Creatives and their assets
  • Create, update and pause, and media upload, where the permissions are granted

Always after preview and approval.

  • A Meta developer app with business permissions and OAuth
  • App review and the right Marketing API access tier
  • Pages and Instagram access is separate and needs its own review
  • API versions change often and are maintained actively.
  • The Ad Library API does not provide competitor spend or ROAS.

Common data differences

General practice, not a claim about any one account.

Difference

Attribution windows and view-based credit

Ad platforms credit a sale to a click or view inside a window they set. The store credits the last visit it saw, or nothing if the visitor came back later. Different windows and rules give different sales for the same days. Both can be right for their own rule.

Difference

Reporting time zone and day cut-off

The ad account has its own time zone. A purchase late at night can fall on one date in the store and the next date in the ad report. Compare both sources on the same date range and the same time zone.

Difference

Modelled and estimated conversions

Ad platforms may estimate conversions where measurement is limited, for example when visitors decline cookies. The totals then include estimates the store does not count. Note which figures are measured and which are estimated before you compare.

Questions about Meta Ads

Is the Meta Ads connection read-only?

It starts read-only. Changes are added only where the platform grants the permission, and each one is previewed, approved, sent once, read back and logged.

Where is the token stored?

In an encrypted vault on the server, never in the browser, in logs or in an AI prompt.

Is the Meta Ads connector available now?

Not yet. It goes live after the platform access is in place. Request access to be told when it does.

Built for shop owners, creators and agencies. Stock photos, not customers.

Run the next client review from one screen.

We open one agency at a time, with your own accounts connected read-only first.
