Definition
Platform ROAS is the revenue an ad platform attributes to its own ads divided by what you spent on that platform.
Platform ROAS = attributed revenue / spend on that platformExample with made-up numbers: Meta reports 6,000 in purchase value on 2,000 of spend. Platform ROAS = 3.0.
How to use it
It depends on the platform's attribution model and window, so two platforms can both report strong ROAS for the same sales. Never add platform ROAS values together to get a total.
Use it to compare ads and ad sets inside one platform, and use MER to judge the whole business.
