Ad naming generator

Choose the fields once, list your creative IDs and versions, and get every ad name in the same pattern, ready to paste.

Stock photos and example labels, not customers.

For example a country or region code.
Each creative gets every version.

Example presets use made-up numbers.

How it works

Each name is built from the fields in a fixed order: market, objective, audience, creative ID, version. Values are lowercased, spaces become hyphens inside a value, and the separator you chose never appears inside a value.

Example with made-up values: us_prospecting_lookalike_c0142_v1

Why a fixed order

Reports can then be sliced by position in the name, and a name checked before launch is easy to compare with the pattern.

Adapt the pattern

The fields are a starting point. Keep the pattern short, store the allowed values in a list and publish it to the whole team.

Questions about this tool

How many fields should a name have?

As few as your reports slice by. Four or five fields cover most agencies; every extra field is another thing that can be typed wrong.

Should the creative ID be in the ad name?

Yes. Ad IDs change when an ad is duplicated, so the creative ID in the name is what lets results for one asset be added up.

Is anything stored?

No. Names are generated in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere.

Built for shop owners, creators and agencies. Stock photos, not customers.
