What one procedure page contains
- Purpose: one sentence on what the task is for and when it is used.
- Owner: one named role, the person who keeps the page current.
- Steps: numbered actions, each naming the tool used and the output it leaves.
- Checks: what must be true before the next step, and what counts as done.
The first ten to write
Start with the tasks that repeat most and cause the most rework. For most agencies that is ten tasks: account setup and tracking check, UTM tagging, campaign launch, creative upload, budget change, change approval, weekly report, monthly report, client handover and client offboarding.
Keep it current
- Store the library where the team already works, with a link from each client record.
- Review each page after its first real use, then every quarter.
- Date each version and write one line on what changed and why.
- Retire pages nobody uses. A shelf of dead pages teaches people to skip the library.
Checklist
- Ten core procedures, each with one owner, purpose, steps, checks and a version date.
- Every client record links to the procedures that apply to it.
